Cubs Club

At our Cubs Club meeting this week, the Cubs put in the final preparation for the Father's Day Breakfast. They were also give a topic that they had to talk to the group about for 30 seconds. Lots of fun was had!
These questions could be ones that you discuss around your dinner table!
Father's Day Breakfast
A huge thank you to all of our wonderful fathers, grandfathers and father figures who joined us for our Father’s Day Breakfast this morning. It was fantastic to see so many of you enjoying the morning with our students and helping us celebrate the special people in their lives.
A very special thank you to the amazing Lions Club, led by Pat, for generously supplying and cooking all of the delicious egg and bacon rolls for our breakfast. We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort and support you continue to give to our school community.
Thank you also to our Cubs Club members for selling drinks and helping out this morning.
The money raised will be donated to a cause decided by the Cubs Club members.
Head to our Father's Day Breakfast Photo Gallery page for lots of photos of our wonderful morning.
We are looking for new members!
Cubs Club has the capacity to take some new members from grades 4 to 6 for Semester 2. As our Cubs say: "We love seeing new people come into Cubs Club. We welcome everyone, no matter who you are. If you want to do good in the world, you can join us now!"

Current initiatives
Lions Recycle for Sight
We are excited to join this great humanitarian project. You can drop your prescription glasses that you no longer need off at the collection box near the office.
Stamps
The Cubs Club would like to continue with these two exciting fundraising opportunities that were started last year. We are asking the Donvale Community to collect stamps (new or used) to help raise money in providing wheelchairs for less fortunate communities.
If you have any to donate, there are collection boxes located at the school office.
We truly appreciate your support—and we know the communities we’re helping will too.
