Loving God,

We thank You for the children of Sacred Heart and for the many gifts they bring to our school community each day.

We especially pray for the students who recently received the Sacrament of Confirmation. May Your Holy Spirit continue to guide them with wisdom, courage, kindness and faith as they grow in Your love.

Bless all of our students as they learn, play, pray and grow together. Help them to show compassion, respect and friendship to one another and to always know that they are valued and deeply loved.

We thank our families, staff and parish community for the care and support they give to our children each day. May our school always be a place where faith, hope and love shine brightly in all we do.

Heartfelt Thanks for a Beautiful Confirmation Celebration

I would like to extend a very big thank you to everyone who contributed to making our Sacrament of Confirmation such a beautiful and reverent celebration for our students and families. We were blessed to be joined by Father Aloysius Nato and Father Anthony, who led us prayerfully through this very special occasion.

A special thank you to Kate for her wonderful organisation and preparation, and to our class teachers, Marie, James and Deb, for supporting and guiding the students throughout their faith journey.

We also acknowledge Marie, James, Deb, Davide, Emma, Sandra, Janine and all who helped the students learn about their chosen saints and create the beautiful posters displayed at Sacred Heart Church. The displays were a wonderful feature of the celebration and added great meaning, colour and connection to the students’ learning.

Thank you also to our talented musicians, Marty and Davide, and to our choir led by Kate, for sharing their gifts so beautifully and helping to create such a prayerful and joyful atmosphere throughout the evening.

We are also very grateful to all staff who attended and supported the celebration in so many different ways. Your care, teamwork and dedication helped make the evening so meaningful and memorable for our students and families.

Our families were extremely appreciative, with many passing on their thanks for the wonderful experience provided.

Thank you once again to all staff for the many ways you continue to support our students and school community.

Foundation 2027

Our Foundation (Prep) Enrolments for 2027 are now open at Sacred Heart Primary School.

We warmly invite families and friends in our community to spread the word to anyone looking for a nurturing, welcoming and vibrant school for their child’s educational journey.

School tours are available and we would love to welcome new families to experience our beautiful learning community.

Week 8 – Curriculum Day Reminder

Please note that Monday 8 June is the King’s Birthday Public Holiday and there will be no school on this day.

On Tuesday 9 June, Sacred Heart staff will participate in a Curriculum Day with other local Catholic schools. Staff will engage in Religious Education Professional Learning led by Brother David Hall, a highly respected Catholic educator and Dean of the La Salle Academy at Australian Catholic University. Brother David has extensive experience in Catholic education, leadership and faith formation, working with Catholic schools across Australia and internationally. This professional learning will support our staff in continuing to strengthen Religious Education and faith formation at Sacred Heart.

There will be no classes for students on Tuesday 9 June. However, MACSEYE will be available for families requiring care on this day.
