House Cross Country

Last Friday, we were excited to compete in our yearly 3-6 House Cross Country Carnival.

The weather was brilliant, the atmosphere was full of excitement and everyone was there to do their own personal best.

We started the day with our 8, 9 and 10 year old boys and girls races over 2km and followed it up with the 11 and 12 year old 3km races.

Although it was a beautiful sunny day, it made the race a little bit more challenging for some but everyone pushed through it with flying colours!

The students who finished in the first 9 places, will now head to the district event on Friday May 15th and represent Carnegie proudly.

11 Boys - Seb R

11 Girls - Annabel M

12 Boys - Rooke J

12 Girls - Maddie W

We also have an 8/9 year age champion. They may not have won their race but are an age group champion so we would like to add

8/9 Boys- Asa J

8/9 Girls- Nina H

Well done also goes to the winning house of Truganini as they had strong results throughout the day.

We wish the District team all the best for their races on Friday and hopefully some wonderful results will follow.
