District T-Ball Competition

Congratulations to our girls and boys Tee Ball teams who both finished 2nd in the district competition this week. Both teams now progress on to the next round of competetion!

On Tuesday 26th of May the Year 5 and 6 T-ball teams went to a gala day. The boys won two games against The Lakes and Morang South, they  lost a game against Marymede had a draw against Edgars Creek. The girls won three games against the Lakes, Edgars Creek and Morang South and lost a game against Marymede. Overall both teams placed second and made it to the next round. The day was really fun and we improved in every game using strategies to win. We were really happy with the results and had fun.

All In For Reconciliation

This week we have been reflecting on the meaning of the National Reconcilation Week theme - All in for Recocnilation. Our Year 5 students shared the following reflections:

 

To me reconcilation is:

A time to grow the bonds between us and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders - Ivreen
Bonding and forgiving people - Martina
Making a change and sticking to it - Jonathon

A great team is:

When you stick together in a group beacuse of a stong connection with each other - Mia T
Bonding with your team mates and it doesn't matter if you win or loose - Eva
