Winter Meals Appeal for St Vinnies

“Warm Hearts. Kind Hands. Stronger Together.” 

As the colder winter months begin, St Brendan’s Primary School will once again support members of our local Shepparton community through our Winter Meals Appeal in partnership with St Vincent de Paul Shepparton. 

We are very aware that many families and individuals are currently experiencing financial pressures due to the rising cost of living. While many people may feel these challenges in different ways, there are some within our community who are struggling to provide essential food and household items for themselves and their families. 

Beginning this week, we invite all families to support our appeal by donating tins and cartons of non-perishable food items such as: 

• soups and canned meals 
• pasta, rice and baked beans 
• breakfast cereals 
• long-life milk 
• tuna and tinned fruit 

• other pantry staples

   

All donations will be presented to St Vincent de Paul Shepparton during our Mass of Compassion during the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday June 12th with St Luke's. 

As a Catholic school community grounded in our values of Faith and Courage, we are called to live out the message of Jesus through compassion, kindness and service to others. Every donation, no matter how small, will help bring comfort, hope and dignity to local families doing it tough this winter.
