A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,
The weather may be getting cooler, but here at St Brendan’s we continue to work hard and truly live out our school motto of Faith and Courage.
Last week, our Year 4 students headed off to Alexandra Holiday Park for their overnight camp. The students were exemplary in their behaviour and represented our school community with great pride. They embraced a range of activities, including archery, gaga ball, giant swing, and the flying fox, to name just a few.
Many thanks to our staff; Nathan Secchi, Josh Wild, Sam Beks, Olivia Hampson, and Johanna Baldacchino – for attending the camp and ensuring everything ran so smoothly.
We also participated in our Winter School Sport, where our students proudly represented St Brendan’s across soccer, netball, football, and t-ball. It was wonderful to see students enjoying the opportunity to compete, while demonstrating excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Tomorrow, we will officially commission our Year 6 leaders into our new Misneach Leadership Program and present them with their leadership badges. An invitation was sent earlier this week to Year 6 families to attend this special morning assembly.
We extend our sincere thanks to Louie Carrafa’s parents, Natasha and Brendan, for their generous donation towards the purchase of these badges. This thoughtful gesture is a wonderful acknowledgement of their gratitude for all that St Brendan’s has offered their family.
I also invite parents to take the time to read our Annual Report to the School Community. Preparing this report provided me with a valuable opportunity to reflect on the incredible work achieved across our school over the past 12 months. Seeing the report finalised fills me with great pride in our dedicated families, students, and staff who make our community so special.

School Uniform Reminder
All students are expected to wear their full winter uniform each day. This helps ensure students remain comfortable, warm, and presentable.
Please also note our Sport Days:
Foundation, Year 1 and Year 3: Monday and Wednesday
Years 4, 5 and 6: Tuesdays and Thursdays
We encourage all families to clearly label all uniform items with your child’s name to help us return any lost property promptly.
We also encourage families to check our full uniform requirements by clicking on the uniform list link provided in this newsletter.
For families needing support:
Second-hand uniforms are available from the school hall
If you require items urgently, please contact the school office. Please note that students are not to wear hoodies or other non-uniform jumpers in place of the school uniform.
The uniform shop is open most Thursdays after school
Thank you for your support in ensuring all students arrive at school dressed appropriately and ready for learning.
