🎭 Year P–2 Musical – Toys Costume Information

Our Prep to Year 2 students are busily preparing for our 50th Anniversary celebration with their musical performance of Toys at the Frankston Arts Centre on Wednesday 14 October.
Students have been allocated to an animal costume group, with the main groups being:
🦁 Lion | 🐯 Tiger | 🐻 Bear | 🐰 Rabbit | 🐭 Mouse | 🦊 Fox
Some Year 2 students have also been allocated lead roles, including Rabbit, Angel, Clown, Bear and Hound Dog. These roles are identified on the class costume list sent home via email.
👕 Costumes
Families are asked to create costumes at home. Please don't feel that costumes need to be expensive or elaborate — simple is often best! We encourage families to use clothing and materials you already have at home or visit local op shops for inexpensive items.
Please keep costumes at home for now. We will let families know when costumes need to be brought to school in Term 4.
Information about hair, makeup, ticketing and performance times will be provided closer to the event.
📎 Please look out for the email with a Costume Information letter for individual costume requirements and ideas for each animal group.
Thank you for your wonderful support as we prepare for this very special celebration. We can't wait to see our students shine on stage!
