Catholic Identity

This term, we have several important events coming up within our school and parish community.

Father’s Day Liturgy

On Friday 4 September at 9:00 am, our Year 2 students will lead the Father’s Day Liturgy. It would be great to see families there!

Important Date Change: Year 4 Reflection Day and Family Preparation Session.

On Tuesday 1st of  September, Year 4 students will participate in a Reflection Day to help prepare them for the Sacrament of Eucharist. Throughout the day, students will engage in meaningful activities designed to deepen their understanding of this sacred sacrament. It will be a special opportunity for reflection, learning and spiritual growth as they continue to develop their relationship with Jesus. Year 4 students are asked to wear casual clothes on this day.

At 3:00 pm on Tuesday 1st of September, Year 4 students and their families are required to attend the Family Preparation Session. As part of the Sacramental Program, a parent or caregiver and their child are required to attend this session. It will provide families with an opportunity to reflect on their faith journey and prepare together for the sacrament.

The session will also help parents understand the Sacrament of Eucharist, what the preparation program involves and how they can support their child at home.

We thank our parish priest, Fr Martin Tanti, who will lead the presentation.

Sacrament of Eucharist

On Saturday 12th September at 2:30 pm,  Students will celebrate and receive the Sacrament of Eucharist.  Questions about the Sacrament of Eucharist or the school’s Sacramental Program can be directed to Ed Simpson.
