Harmony Week is the celebration that recognises our diversity and brings together Australians from all different backgrounds. It’s about inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for everyone. Especially in Term 1, where our whole school is unpacking our school value of Belonging, this is a perfect opportunity to once again celebrate a place where ‘Everyone Belongs’.
Although the week of the 16th to 22nd March is Harmony Week, Harmony Day will be celebrated here at Footscray West Primary on Monday, 16th March where we ask our community to participate in a Harmony Day activity.
All classes will participate in an appropriate activity to recognise Harmony Day and we encourage our community to wear a splash of orange as further support of this day.
