đ New books @ HC LibraryÂ

đ Book Club - FRIDAY lunchtime
đâ¨Â Book Club will meet Friday lunchtimes in the HCCB Library (half-time bell) to chat about books, share recommendations, and connect with like-minded readers.Â
Â
We have started âBoyâ by Roald Dahl. âBoyâ is a humorous autobiography about Roald Dahlâs life up until he is 20 years old. Itâs full of tales about his childhood, which is where he drew his inspiration for his future fiction titles. One amazing tale was about his time spent at Cadburyâs, tasting and rating the chocolate recipes. His time at Cadburyâs inspired a super-famous book â Charlie and the Chocolate factory.Â

Silent Reading sessions â WednesdayâsÂ
Lunchtimes in the library have been really busy lately⌠so today weâre slowing things down with a Silent Reading Sessions. Open to students and staff.Â
đ Wander in after youâve eaten your lunch (no food in the library).Â
đ No laptops.Â
𤍠No talking.Â
đ Just quiet reading.Â
If that sounds like your ideal lunchtime, weâd love to see you there.Â
* Limited to 15 students.Â
