SAPSASA Cricket
Several LNPS boys recently had the opportunity to play in the SAPSASA division 1 district cricket competition after successfully trialling for the team over several weeks. LNPS had a total of four players selected to play for Airport District!
The boys played several games over three days, winning all their qualifiers and semi to place them in the grand final!
The team played well, but ultimately were runners up against a strong Adelaide South East team. Proudly, the Airport team were winners of the SAPSASA Cricket competition "Culture Cup", awarded to the team that displayed the best sportsmanship, positive attitude, and spirit of cricket over the week, as voted for by other district coaches and umpires.
A great effort from the team, and from our LNPS student representatives.
Well done boys!
SA School Sport Girls Australian FootballÂ
For three days during Week 3 this term, Scarlett H and Quinn N in year 6 represented Airport District in the SA School Sport Girls Australian Football State Carnival at Barrett Reserve, West Beach.
The team finished the carnival with five wins, three losses and a draw, placing them fourth overall in the Division 1 competition.
Both girls had a fantastic time throughout the week—making new friends, honing their skills, and representing their school and district with pride and positivity.
