👋Staff Farewell🫶

TERM 4 WEEK 9 2025

THANK YOU & GOOD LUCK

Farewelling Mandy Jones

This year, we say a heartfelt farewell to Mandy Jones, who is retiring after an incredible 40 years in education. Mandy has been an integral part of the LNPS family for so many years, contributing her talents, creativity, and unwavering dedication to our community.

Affectionately known as “Jonesy”, she has worn many hats during her time with us, our resident face-painter, artist, “Kitchen Lady,” mentor, and friend. Mandy is an educator who always puts students first, supports families with genuine care, and never hesitates to tell it like it is. Her authenticity, humour, and passion have left an indelible mark on all who have had the pleasure of working with her.

Mandy will be dearly missed, but we know she will be embracing retirement wholeheartedly and enjoying life on the road in her caravan. This is not goodbye, just a new chapter. We look forward to seeing her around and hearing all about her adventures.

Farewelling Lauren McCulloch

We also say a warm farewell to Lauren McCulloch, who has been a valued member of the LNPS team since 2007. Throughout her many years with us, Lauren has been a dedicated early years teacher, laying strong foundations for our youngest learners. Her own children have also walked the halls of LNPS, making her connection to our school even more special.

As Lauren prepares to begin a new chapter at Dominican School in 2026, we celebrate this exciting opportunity for her to take the next step in her career. While we will certainly miss her presence, and expertise,  we know she will continue to inspire students and colleagues in her new role.

We are deeply grateful for the significant contributions Lauren has made to LNPS.

Farewelling Nik Skrob

We extend a heartfelt goodbye to Nik Skrob as he continues in his role as Senior Advisor, Inclusive Practices for the department. Nik has been a vital part of LNPS, serving as our Wellbeing and Learning Support Leader. His passion for supporting students with additional needs, and his genuine care for families and staff, has been deeply appreciated throughout his time here.

Nik’s commitment to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments has made a meaningful impact on our school community. While we are sad to see him leave LNPS, we know he will continue to do incredible work in his new role, making a difference for students and educators beyond the school level.

We thank Nik for his dedication, expertise, and the warmth he brought to LNPS, and we wish him all the very best in this next chapter.

Farewelling Zoe Parry and Jalna Anspach

We also say a fond farewell to Zoe Parry and Jalna Anspach, who have both been integral members of the LNPS team.

Zoe, an LNPS old scholar, returned to our community first as an SSO and later as a classroom teacher. Her journey with us reflects her deep connection to the school and her commitment to supporting our students.

Jalna, our recycling hero, has likewise been a dedicated and valued educator whose contributions have strengthened our school in countless ways. Her passion and dedication to students and families has made a lasting impact at LNPS.

Both Zoe and Jalna are now embarking on exciting new adventures; Zoe moving to Western Australia and Jalna to Yalata. While we are sad to see them leave, we are incredibly proud of the opportunities ahead of them.

They are exceptional educators who will be dearly missed at LNPS. We thank them for their dedication, passion, and the positive impact they have made on our community. We wish them every success in their next chapters.

Farewelling Ella Sheffield and Yana Krimizi

We also extend our thanks and warm farewell to Ella and Yana, two wonderful SSOs who have been part of the LNPS team for a short but meaningful time.

Ella has supported our front office with positivity and professionalism, while Yana has contributed greatly as a learning support SSO.

We are truly grateful for their efforts and the support they have provided during their time with us. We wish Ella and Yana all the very best as they move forward into their next opportunities.

GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU FROM YOUR LNPS TEAM!
