Wellbeing

Dear Parents,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support of our wellbeing initiatives this year. It has been a pleasure working alongside our SRC students and witnessing their growth and development as emerging leaders.
As we move into the Christmas holidays, we encourage families to take time to rest, recharge and reconnect. The break provides a wonderful opportunity to prioritise wellbeing and create meaningful moments together. Below are some simple ideas to support your family’s wellbeing over the festive season:
Plan daily family time such as board games, movie nights or shared meals.
Create simple traditions like a Christmas walk or gratitude circle.
Go for family walks, bike rides or beach trips.
Try fun movement activities like backyard games or dance-offs.
Keep routines where possible to create a sense of security.
Practise kindness and patience with one another.
Set tech-free family times (e.g. during meals or before bed).
Encourage creative play, reading and outdoor time.
Do acts of kindness such as donating toys or writing cards.
Capture memories through crafts or photos.
Wishing you all a restful break and a joyful Christmas season.
Kind regards,
Camille Rossouw.
