Cross Country Interschool Sport

Whittlesea Division Cross Country was a fantastic day out in the sunshine, with our students representing Wollert Secondary College with pride, determination, and great sportsmanship.

A special congratulations goes to Giselle Stangolevski (2nd), Emily Cowl (3rd), and Luka Samanovic (2nd) for finishing in the top three of their respective races — an incredible achievement!

We’re also proud to announce that 11 of our students have progressed to the Northern Metropolitan Regional round. These students are:

• 12/13 Girls: Giselle Stangolevski, Emily Cowl, and Emma Caddle (10th)

• 12/13 Boys: Hanad Adan (12th)

• 14 Girls: Chelsea (5th) and Deborah (8th)

• 14 Boys: Luka (2nd), Moey (9th), Lucas (11th), Massimo (12th), and Harvey (13th)

The enthusiasm, effort, and team spirit shown by all students were outstanding. It was truly heartening to see everyone supporting one another and striving to do their best. Well done to all participants—we look forward to seeing our qualifiers take on the next challenge at regionals!
