Soccer - Intermediate Girls Soccer

The Intermediate Girls soccer was an exciting and competitive day for the Wollert girls, who played four back-to-back games with no breaks and showed incredible resilience and determination throughout.

The day started strong with a commanding 4-1 win over Mernda Central, setting the tone for the rest of the competition. The second match proved to be a challenge, as the girls faced a tough opponent in Mill Park Secondary. In a close and intense game, Wollert managed to edge through with a hard fought 4-3 victory.

With momentum building, the team continued their winning streak, securing a 6-2 win against Thomastown Secondary and finishing the day in dominant fashion with a decisive 8-0 win over Epping Secondary.

Despite the physical demands of playing consecutive games, the girls displayed outstanding teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship across all matches. Their efforts have earned them a place in the next round of the competition.

Congratulations to the team on a fantastic performance, and best of luck as they continue training for the upcoming matches later in the year.
