Foundation Excursion
Aquarium
On Tuesday 2nd June, Foundation students went on an excursion to the Aquarium as part of their exploration of Inquiry 2's Big Idea: All living things need water. The students travelled to Sealife by tram and played at nearby Enterprise Park. As they walked along the Yarra River, they discussed different forms of water transport, including boats, and explored concepts such as stormwater runoff and the ways water moves through our environment. They then participated in a fabulous Sealife Habitat Tour. During the tour, students learned about a variety of aquatic animals and the habitats they depend on to survive, deepening their understanding of the important role water plays in sustaining all living things.
