Berry Street Educational Model

At Orchard Park Primary School, we are proud to implement the Berry Street Education Model (BSEM)—a research-based framework designed to support the academic and wellbeing needs of all students.

The Berry Street Education Model provides teachers with practical strategies to create safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments. It helps students build the self-regulation, resilience, and relational capacity needed for success in both school and life.

At OPPS, every student has created their own individual Ready to Learn scales and each class has devised Ready to Learn strategies to support their social and emotional learning.
