Meet our School Council

Natalie Ferguson -School Council Member, Education / Policy Sub-Committee Member

Natalie joined School Council and the Finance Committee in 2023, and in 2024 added the Education & Policy sub-committee to her list of good decisions. Her family has been part of the CSPS community since 2020, when her eldest, Lily, started Prep. These days, Lily is thriving in Year 5 and her little brother Harry is in Year 1, meaning Natalie is officially a seasoned school parent (with the lunchbox battles to prove it). An English teacher at McKinnon Secondary College, Natalie doesn’t often make it to school drop-off and pick-up—but you might spot her husband, Josh, doing the honours. Outside the classroom, you’ll find her jogging around Princes Park or cheering loudly from the sidelines at Lily’s netball games. Natalie has a deep love for Broadway musicals and holds the (correct) opinion that BBQ Shapes are the best Shapes flavour, hands down. With 17 years of experience in public education, she’s passionate about student wellbeing, positive behaviour strategies, and building strong, open communication between school and home. Natalie is excited to be part of a positive council team, working together to support great learning outcomes for all CSPS students.
