Welcome back to term 4

Dear Parents and Carer's,
I hope you all had a wonderful break. Overall, we were fortunate to enjoy some good weather, and I hope you found time to step away from your regular routines and recharge. From my conversations with students, it’s clear that many made the most of the holidays—popular outings included trips to the movies and the Royal Melbourne Show.
While everyone was enjoying their break, several projects were underway at the school—many of which can only be done during the holidays. One of the key projects was the preparation of a space for our new Indigenous garden, a collaboration with one of our Koori community partnerships. I’m very excited to see how this blank canvas will evolve into a meaningful and educational space.
We’ve already wrapped up the first week of Term 4, and although it’s an eleven-week term, it’s packed with events you’ll want to mark on your calendar.
First and foremost is our upcoming School Concert, which is fast approaching. I’ve had the pleasure of being the "token audience" for student rehearsals, and I must say—they have made incredible progress! Don’t miss this wonderful event—make sure to purchase your tickets soon.
Another major highlight this term is our 50th Anniversary Celebration—a milestone event, 50 years in the making! Planning is already underway, and it’s shaping up to be a fun-filled afternoon with activities, entertainment, and food for the whole community. Be sure to save the date: 26th November (late afternoon).
Here are a few more important dates to keep in mind:
- Pathways Information Session – 16th October
- Senior School Information Night – 18th November
- Statewide Transition Day – 9th December
- Variety Kids Christmas Party – 18th December
Final Day of School Year – Friday, 19th December
As you can see, Term 4 is shaping up to be a busy and exciting one!
