The Term 3 school holidays were one of our best Vacation Care programs yet! Over the two action-packed weeks, our OSHC was buzzing with energy, laughter, and unforgettable adventures.

The first week kicked off with giant inflatables and mini golf right here at OSHC. The students had a blast bouncing through the obstacle course and showing off their putting skills. We were treated to a live theatre performance, and the excitement kept going with a full-day excursion to Woodhouse Adventure Park, where we tackled Challenge Hill, climbing courses, and more! We also turned into junior detectives for a day as we cracked codes in our very own mystery escape room.

The adventures continued in the second week. Some of us explored the MOD (Museum of Discovery) while others got creative at Plaster Fun House. We rocked out with the famous Drumming Monkeys, burned off energy at our favourite Wacky Warehouse, and finished the holidays with Wheels Day and the super fun blender bikes, where pedal power made our smoothies!

From start to finish, there was something for everyone. We can’t wait to do it all again, bigger and better, next holiday!

Starting Term 4 – Monday 13th October

To keep children safe, happy, and well cared for, our Governing Council has updated some OSHC processes. These changes help us meet required staff–child ratios and continue providing high-quality care.

What’s Changing?

Late Booking Fee – $2

  • Afternoon sessions must be booked by 10:00am that day.

  • Morning sessions must be booked by 2:00pm the day before.

No Booking Fee – $5

  • Applies if a child attends without a booking.

Cancellations – 7 Days’ Notice

  • The one-week cancellation deadline will be strictly followed.

Absences – 42 Per Year

  • Each child has 42 allowable absences before Child Care Subsidy is affected.

  • If your child is sick, fees still apply.

  • With a medical certificate, the absence becomes an Approved Absence (not counted towards the 42).

Extenuating Circumstances

  • We know life doesn’t always go to plan!

  • Please put your reasons in writing to the Director/OSHC Advisory Committee and we will review your situation.

Why are these changes happening?

These updates make sure we:

  • Keep all children safe

  • Have enough staff to care for them

  • Continue providing a fun, supportive environment

Thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to put children’s wellbeing first.
