Year 12 Student Hunter S: Racing to Success in Formula Ford!
Year 12 student, Hunter Salvatore has been competing in motorsport for several years now and has recently made his car racing debut. Hunter started off his racing career in go-karts at a young age and over the course of the last seven years he has competed at National level events. He has also been to Japan for the last 3 years in a row to learn the art of drifting in a Toyota 86 at the very famous Ebisu circuit in Fukushima. He made his transition from go-karts to cars late last year doing a couple of test days in an F4 car and took Pole position at the last round of the AFO at Philip Island but unfortunately could not go on to race as the car had a mechanical failure. The first half of this year Hunter will focus on honing his skills by racing a Formula Ford car both in Victoria and interstate before going to race internationally. Hunter has recently competed in his first ever car race at Winton, where he was able to place 5th against some of the best Formula Ford drivers in the country. We look forward to supporting Hunter throughout the year with his racing and seeing what he can do in Formula Ford!
