What an incredible Athletics Carnival!
What a fantastic two days of athletics we had! On Wednesday 9th September, our Year 3/4 students took to the track and field, followed by our Year 5/6 students on Thursday 10th September.
Students gave their all across a fantastic range of events, including the 100m, 200m, 800m, relays, discus, shot put, long jump, triple jump, high jump and hurdles. It was wonderful to see everyone challenging themselves, showing great sportsmanship, cheering on their teammates and, most importantly, having fun!
We are incredibly proud of every single student who participated. Everyone did beyond amazing, and the effort, enthusiasm and determination shown across both days was truly fantastic. 🌟
A very special thank you goes to all of our wonderful staff and parent volunteers. Your time, energy and support were absolutely invaluable, and we could not have run such a successful Athletics Carnival without you! We are so grateful for everything you did to make the days possible.
🏅 Ribbons & Results: We are currently finalising all event results and placings. Once these have been confirmed, we are hoping to have ribbons presented to student's next term. Mrs Young will also speak with students about their individual placings once the final results have been given to her. Thank you for your patience while we make sure all results are finalised correctly!
🏃♂️ Division Athletics: A reminder that Division Athletics is taking place on Friday 9th October. Please note that this date falls on the same day as our Year 5/6 Camp. We will provide further information regarding arrangements for students involved in Division Athletics as details are confirmed.

BASEBALL
Hinston L. was invited to attend the Baseball Australia U12 World Cup Team Selection Trials at Melbourne Ballpark in Altona on Monday, 7 September.
This was a fantastic opportunity for Hinston, particularly following his recent success in baseball. The previous weekend, he represented the Wangaratta Rangers Baseball Club in the U15 Premier Final, where the team went on to win the championship.
We are incredibly proud of Hinston and his achievements in baseball and congratulate him on this wonderful opportunity! ⚾🏆
