Principal

The teachers would like to thank all who were able to join them for the Student Progress Meetings. At times you may not have enough time, so we encourage you to contact your child's teacher. Session two is this Thursday 17th September. Bookings via PAM.
The Father's Day breakfast event was very special. I am continually blessed by the efforts of people who make this possible. Staff were arriving before 6am and had spent hours previously getting things ready. THANK YOU.
YOUTH MASS
On Saturday 12th September we will join FCJ and the parish at the 6pm Saturday mass and invite you to come along if you are free. This will be followed with a sausage sizzle. More details to follow.
Calendar of Events
Please keep an eye on this page as you plan your end of year events. We have planned carefully for events such as: Statewide school transition, Grade 6 Urban Surf Day trip, End of Year Mass, Year 6 Graduation Mass, Grade 6 & families morning tea, F-2 Christmas Concert.
Many things are taken into consideration, and we changed the timing of a couple of events. The student progress meetings are not at the end of the year, but in Terms 1 and 3. We now have a F-2 Christmas themed concert at the end of the year but a 3-6 Concert in Term 3. We have introduced a morning tea with families after the year 6 Graduation Mass. This will hopefully encourage more people to stay and celebrate primary school as a group. Hopefully with plenty of warning you can add these to your calendar.
Here are the dates which will stay on the calendar page of the newsletter and the PAM calendar.

Enrolments
We are experiencing a rise in ENROLMENTS enquiries for 2027 which is very positive. Enrolments remain OPEN in the majority of year levels for 2026. At the start of the year we had 406 students, currently 420, and 2027 is 440, 20 more since the week 6 newsletter.
If you have a child starting in 2027, PLEASE ENROL NOW. We have started finalising classes for 2027. All Catholic schools in our system will finalise school budgets by the end of Term 3. This includes staffing requirements and class numbers.
