Prayer & Catholic Identity

Prayer of Saint Francis

Make me a channel of your peace,

Where there is hatred, let me bring your love,

Where there is injury, your pardon Lord,

And where there's doubt, true faith in you.

Make me a channel of your peace,

Where there's despair in life let me bring hope,

Where there is darkness - only light,

And where there's sadness, ever joy.

Oh, Master, grant that I may never seek,

So much to be consoled as to console,

To be understood, as to understand,

To be loved, as to love with all my soul.

Make me a channel of your peace,

It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

In giving to all men that we receive,

And in dying that we're born to eternal life.

The International Day of Peace occurs on September 21st. The Prayer of Saint Francis encourages us to move away from negative attitudes such as anger, hatred, darkness and encourages us to let go, forgive, trust and hope, so as to bring peace.

We warmly invite all parishioners to complete our Parish Census. Whether you are new to the parish, have been part of our community for many years, or worship with us occasionally, your details will help us stay    connected, offer pastoral support, and plan for the future.

Please take a few moments to complete a census, time and talent form. Thank you               for helping us build a welcoming and connected parish community.
