2026 Regional Athletics Success!

NHS students travelled to Albury for the Regional Athletics on Friday July 31. Students proudly represented our school with enthusiasm, determination and excellent sportsmanship. They gave their best across a range of track and field events, demonstrating resilience, teamwork and a willingness to challenge themselves while achieving some fantastic personal bests. 

We are incredibly proud of the outstanding performances of our athletes, with a number of students progressing through the representative pathway to qualify for the State Athletics in both track and field events. Reaching the state level is an exceptional achievement and we look forward to celebrating even more sporting success. 

A huge thanks to Mr Logan Malhalam for assisting on the day and to Mr Tony Bell for driving the bus.

A commendable effort from Peter Skarlis who broke the 16 Year Boys Discus record with a throw of 51.2m. This was at least 20m further than his closest competitor!
