Congratulations to our students who celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation last Wednesday night; it was a truly reverent and beautiful evening for our parish community. As we look ahead, Sunday classes will now resume as these students continue their spiritual journey in preparation for receiving their First Holy Communion on Sunday, September 13th.
A sincere thank you goes out to our Community Leader, Fiona, for her fantastic organisation of our recently completed swimming program, as well as to all of our students who represented St. Michael's so wonderfully throughout the sessions.
Excitement is also building around our brand-new playground, which is fully built and currently awaiting its final safety inspection before we can officially open it for play!
To ensure our students get the most out of their learning each day, our school-wide wellbeing focus is centred on moving quietly into classrooms first thing in the morning as well as immediately following recess and lunch. This calm transition helps set a peaceful tone, allowing students to settle quickly and maximise their instructional time.
Finally, we are delighted to extend a very warm St. Michael's welcome to Yasmin, Nina, and Katherine, who have joined our team as pre-service teachers working across our Prep, 1/2 and 3/4 classrooms. We know you will all make them feel right at home in our vibrant community.
Warmest regards
Damien Murray
Principal

Families can visit the fair to purchase books from Tuesday, August 25th to Friday, August 28th, during our open hours: 8:30am to 8:55am in the morning and 3:25pm to 3:55pm in the afternoon.
