Community at ARPS – Father’s Day

On Friday 4th September, we are looking forward to celebrating some very special members of our school community, our fathers and father figures, with a special Father’s Day Afternoon Tea and Assembly.

Fathers and father figures can play such an important role in children’s lives. Whether they are dads, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, carers or other significant people, they provide encouragement, guidance, support and, of course, plenty of fun along the way! The relationships children build with the important adults in their lives help them to feel safe, valued and connected.

Our Father’s Day celebration is also a wonderful opportunity to bring our families together and strengthen the connections that make Athol Road such a special community. We know that children thrive when families and schools work together, and events like these give us the chance to celebrate the people who contribute to the lives of our students both at home and at school.

We warmly invite our fathers and father figures to join us on Friday 4th September for afternoon tea, followed by a Special Assembly celebrating Fathers and Father Figures.

We look forward to welcoming you and celebrating together as an Athol Road community.
