Music Incursions

Over the past month, the Music Learning Area has run two music incursions, showcasing the hard work and commitment of our choir and stage band students as they prepared for the Victorian School Music Festival.

The Choir Incursion took place on Thursday 24th July during periods 1–4, involving a day for students to refine sections and polish harmonies.

On Monday 11th August, the Stage Band participated in their incursion, running from period 3 through to after school. Students dedicated themselves to rehearsing both as a full ensemble and in smaller groups, to further strengthen their performance skills. We wish the Stage Band the very best for their upcoming performance at the Victorian School Music Festival on the 8th of September.
