Science - Year 8 & 9

Year 8 - Science Week

On the 19th of August as part of Science Week, Year 8 students had the opportunity to view a performance based on STEM, in particular Science and Math. There was enthusiastic participation and interaction by the students. The students were able to see the connection and relevance between what they do in class and what was performed. 

Year 9 Astronomy and Earth Science

Students observed how different metal salts produce specific colours when heated in a flame. This is a similar process to how stars are different colours, based on their composition and age.
