Principal Team Report

Creating Futures Together

As we approach the end of Term 3, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our school community for your support and commitment throughout what has been a very busy term.

Parent Opinion Survey

Each year, a number of families from schools across Victoria are randomly selected to seek feedback through the Parent Opinion Survey. This is an important opportunity for us to hear your thoughts about what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve. We encourage all parents and guardians who have received the survey link to please complete the survey. Your voice plays a key role in shaping the direction of our school.

Subject Selections and 2026 Timetable

We would like to thank students and families for submitting subject preferences for 2026. The majority of students have now completed this process, and our staff are working diligently behind the scenes to formulate next year’s timetable. Final allocations will be communicated to students and families at the end of Term 3 and into the beginning of Term 4. We appreciate your patience and support as we ensure that the timetable reflects student choices and learning needs.

Student Achievements in Inter-School Sport

This term, our students have represented the school with pride and enthusiasm in a variety of inter-school sporting events. Teams competed strongly in hockey, basketball, table tennis, netball and Australian Rules football, demonstrating great sportsmanship, teamwork, and school spirit. We are extremely proud of the way our students conducted themselves both on and off the field, and we look forward to more opportunities for competition and success in the future.

Year 12 Students – Preparing for Final Exams

Our Year 12 students are entering the final stretch of their secondary schooling. Over the coming months, they will continue consolidating their learning in preparation for the end-of-year exams, scheduled to begin in late October and conclude in mid-November. We encourage all students to make the most of revision opportunities and to maintain a balance between study, wellbeing, and rest.

Focus for the Remainder of Term 3

With three weeks remaining in the term, this is an excellent opportunity for students to refine their study habits, stay organised, and consolidate their learning in preparation for Term 4 and the busy period that lies ahead. The recent parent–teacher conferences held on Thursday Aug 28 will have provided valuable feedback to help students identify strengths and areas for improvement, and we encourage all students to use this advice to guide their study routines. Making the most of these weeks will help set students up for success as we move towards the end of the school year.

Warm regards,

Michael Lyristis

Assistant Principal
