The Ballarat Royals Baseball junior program, saw tremendous growth during the 2025 season. To continue this growth into the 2026 season we will be running junior skill development sessions. These sessions are free of cost and designed for all kids, with the aim to develop skill in a fun and engaging environment.

National Youth Parliament Opportunity
The 2026 National Youth Parliament, hosted by the Australian House of Representatives and Y Australia, is a free program designed to empower young Australians aged 16-17 with a passion for leadership, policy, and civic engagement.
We’re recruiting one young person from every single federal electorate in the country, and feel that Pyrenees Shire Council’s outreach can help us to ensure that the program is reflective of the diversity of the Australian population - in culture, geography, lived experience, and background. We know that strong representation leads to stronger outcomes, and we hope to see participants from all corners of the community involved.
Required flights, transport, accommodation, food, activities are all covered. Applications are now open and will close on the 21st of November. To be eligible for the program in 2026, students should currently be aged between 15-16-years-old.
