ANZAC Day Letters
đş Honouring ANZAC Day â Learning Through Stories and Reflection
On ANZAC Day, we took time to reflect on the significance of this important occasion through meaningful classroom activities that helped bring history to life for our students.Â
To conclude the session, students engaged in a powerful writing activity. Stepping into the shoes of a soldier, they wrote heartfelt letters home to their families.Â
These moving pieces reflected not only their developing understanding of the emotional realities of war but also their growing empathy for those who have served. It was a day of reflection, learning, and emotional connection that helped our students engage meaningfully with this solemn occasion.
Lest We Forget.
