Just a reminder that the majority of sporting opportunities are only on Compass and it needs to be checked on a regular basis.
PSSA HOCKEY
A huge congratulations to Charlie Dunst who played in the PSSA boys hockey grand final today. The Polding team went down to South Coast in the final 3-0. Charlie saved many goals during the week in his role as goalkeeper.
POLDING WINTER TRIAL SELECTION
Congratulations to the following children who gained a place in the Polding teams for their chosen sports.
Soccer: Louie van Aanholt
Hockey: Charlie Dunst.
Rugby League: Max Collett
POLDING TOUCH FOOTBALL SELECTION
Last Friday we had several children travel to Glen Innes to try out for the Diocesan Touch Football Team. Congratulations to Taj Fitzgibbon, Jacob Anderson and Lincoln Baird who were successful in gaining a place in the team.
GARY MCSWEENEY CUP AND DIOCESAN RUGBY UNION TRIALS
Good luck to the following students who are competing at the Gary McSweeney Cup (boys and girls) and Diocesan Rugby Union Trials (boys only) on Friday 30 May in Tamworth:
Lincoln Baird, Hunter Linton, Harrison Randall, George Chatfield, Kaitlyn Sager, Sophia McManus, Lilli Steinbeck, Baxtar Sharp, William Kellow, Max Hickey, Pax Townsend, Archie Pattison, Sam Lane, Noah Grimley, Kobi Wadwell, Max Collett, Eli Johnson, Lewis Flynn, Jacob Anderson, Alexander Kidd and Fletcher Stimson. A big thank you to Mr Henn who has been training the players at school and to Mrs Chatfield, Mr Chatfield, Mr Kidd and Mr Kellow who will be looking after the teams on Friday.
ATHLETICS CARNIVAL
Entries for the Athletics Carnival are now open on Compass. Please head to Copass Events to consent and enter your child in track events. Trials for field events are being done at school and the top 10 for each age group will compete at the carnival.
