Bonjour!

Welcome to Term 1 French!

This week in Foundation we listened to the song "Bonjour Mes Amis" and practiced french phrases like "je m'appelle" and "comment t'appelles tu?"

From grade 1 to grade 6,  students competed in a memory game recalling work they did in French in 2025.

Students performed very well remembering topics and French vocabulary not only from 2025 but also from previous years. 

They are to be commended on their recollection of French pronunciation, songs, poems and facts relating to French culture, language and history. It is amazing and goose bump inducing to look back and see how much we covered and what students remembered from the 40 or so hours spent learning French.

Looking forward to another great year full of French learning and achievement.
