Kindergarten 2027 Transition

This term, we were excited to commence our Kindergarten 2027 Transition Program!

Over the past three weeks, our future Kindergarten students have enjoyed three fun-filled sessions at school. They have been busy familiarising themselves with the school environment, exploring the playground, listening to stories and completing activities in their workbooks.

The children have also been developing their numeracy skills through counting songs and small-group activities, including counting and ordering numbers, rolling dice and matching numbers.

Last week marked another exciting milestone as the children attended their first full-day transition session. Throughout the day, they enjoyed a special performance by members of our school band, who showcased their musical talents. They also welcomed Alison, an entomologist from Northern Slopes Landcare, for an interesting and engaging visit.

It has been wonderful to see the children making new friends and becoming more familiar with school life. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for their next full day transition session on Friday.
