Book Week Celebrations – Symphony of Stories

What a wonderful day we had celebrating Book Week 2026 – Symphony of Stories!

On Friday 28th August, the gym was filled with students, staff and families as we came together to celebrate our love of books, reading and storytelling. The incredible costumes, creativity and enthusiasm on display made for a truly special morning, with our Book Week Parade showcasing so many much-loved characters and stories.

The celebrations continued throughout the day, with students listening to a selection of CBCA Shortlisted Stories and taking part in engaging activities inspired by the books. From exploring characters and ideas to getting creative with story-related activities, students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in some wonderful Australian literature.

A huge thank you to our families for helping students create such fantastic costumes and to our staff for the time, creativity and enthusiasm they put into making the day so memorable.

It was a fantastic celebration of the stories that bring us together!
