Premier's Spelling Bee Regionals Online Finals

On Thursday, 6th August, our Junior and Senior Spelling Bee winners represented our school at the Premier's Spelling Bee Regionals online finals.

We are proud of both participants. Please see below their reflection of the event.

"The NSW Premier's Spelling Bee Junior Regional Finals was nerve-wracking as 26 competitors from different schools came to compete against each other. It was definitely a scary situation for me as tough competitors can be very competitive. It was also fun and surprising as I did not expect to get 5th place. Although not making it to state finals, I still feel proud of myself and it was definitely a nice experience." - Skye 4/5H

"The NSW Premier's Spelling Bee Senior Regional Finals was really tough and nerve-wracking when I competed against 28 kids across the region. It definitely was a great experience, considering it’s my last spelling bee and getting 8th place spelling “eclectic” incorrectly. I competed in 2024 for the Juniors Regional Finals and got 3rd place, which was pretty surreal since I did the regional finals twice. Even if I didn’t go to the state finals, it was a great experience on my last ever spelling bee." - Noella 6M
