Parents' Association and PAL organised events

Funding Proposals
The John XXIII College Parents' Association have funds available for proposals that meet the objectives of the Parents’ Association by promoting social interaction or providing material assistance to the College. Successful proposals must show they either benefit students in all years or, if only specific years, then support previously neglected years to maintain a balance of benefit across the College. Proposals can be submitted by parents or staff (with a parent sponsor).
We are always interested to hear from our Community on any other ideas they may have for how we can positively contribute to the students’ learning and school experience. If you have any suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
The Funding Proposal form can be found here.
Proposals must be submitted by 5pm on Friday of Week 2 to qualify for consideration at the upcoming Term meeting.

Equality, Reconciliation and Social Cohesion: the inspiration of Sir William Deane - Edited by Fr Frank Brennan SJ
Join us for an evening of reflection and conversation as Fr Frank Brennan SJ launches this important new collection of Sir William Deane’s key speeches as Governor-General of Australia.
At a moment when our nation is engaged in profound soul-searching about equality, reconciliation and social cohesion, this book offers timely and essential insights. Sir William Deane was an outstanding jurist and a compassionate leader who championed a fair go for all Australians, especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Sir William and Lady Helen Deane became the nation’s first couple of reconciliation with Indigenous peoples.
The launch will be officiated by The Honourable Kim Beazley AC, Fr Frank Brennan SJ AO, and Kate Chaney MP (Class of 1991).
