Year 12 Movie Night a Cozy Success

Our Year 12 students recently enjoyed a memorable movie night that was equal parts relaxed, entertaining, and full of community spirit. Embracing the theme, everyone arrived in their comfiest pyjamas, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment they walked in.

Students transformed the space into a cozy cinema by bringing along bean bags, blankets, and pillows. The result was a sea of soft seating and relaxed smiles, as friends settled in together to enjoy the evening in comfort.

The movie of choice, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, proved to be a crowd favourite. Laughter filled the room as students enjoyed the light-hearted comedy, making it the perfect selection for a fun and social night.

The event was organised by our dedicated Year 12 captains, who did an outstanding job coordinating the evening. They also collected contributions from students to provide a delicious pizza dinner, ensuring everyone was well-fed and satisfied throughout the night.

More than just a fun event, the movie night provided a valuable opportunity for students to strengthen friendships and build connections as they approach the end of their school journey. The relaxed environment allowed everyone to unwind and enjoy each other’s company outside of the classroom.

A sincere thank you goes to the staff who generously gave up their time to supervise and support the event. Their presence ensured the night ran smoothly and safely for all involved.

Overall, the Year 12 movie night was a fantastic success—an evening of laughter, comfort, and connection that will be fondly remembered by all who attended.
