Regional Athletics

On Friday 1st August our Regional Athletics team of 21 students travelled to Albury to compete in the Riverina Carnival. Under surprisingly sunny skies (for Albury Athletics), all members of the team competed with skill and enthusiasm.

Running on the synthetic track and using starting blocks was a new experience for some, with others competing in their final representative carnival for Narrandera High School.

At the end of the day 7 students qualified for the CHS State carnival which will be held in Sydney from the 10th to 12th September.

A huge congratulations goes to these 7 students on their outstanding achievement, but also a well deserved congratulations goes to EVERY member of the team for their outstanding behaviour and representation of Narrandera High School on the day.
