Year 11 Fundraiser

Mrs Rebecca Lovelock, Mrs Gibson and Miss Stevenson

Our Year 11 students put on an absolute ripper of an Aussie Day on October 20th, raising an impressive $548.25. The staff vs students cricket match was a highlight, hotly contested, with both sides claiming victory (we’ll call it a draw to keep the peace).

There were plenty of amazing Aussie-themed outfits, a top-notch sausage sizzle and a mouth-watering bake sale, but what really stood out was the teamwork. Every Year 11 student chipped in to make the day a success, showing real leadership and community spirit.

This term, they’re building on that momentum through their leadership projects, taking pride in their school and stepping up as our future Year 12s. Projects include organising next year’s raffle and formal, painting kindness rocks to brighten up the school, helping tidy up the grounds, picking cotton from the fields and lending a hand wherever it’s needed.

We’re incredibly proud of this group for the initiative, cooperation and positivity they’ve shown, a true credit to themselves and to our school.

And just quietly, if anyone would like to contribute a small gift or voucher towards next year’s Easter Raffle (2026) for formal fundraising, we’d love to hear from you.

Well done, Year 1, you’re leading the way beautifully!
