Music News – SGSMP Music Camp

This week some of our music students attended the SGSMP Music Camp at Phillip Island. Along with the other schools in the program, we had a combined band of approximately 120 students! The students took part in various ensemble such as Vocal Group, Guitar Ensemble, Concert Band and the extension Show Band and did some performances in which some of our students (Riley M. and Ryder H.) got solo parts. 

Our students (and Ms Handley) also participated in the camp activities. Highlights were the Giant Swing, Flying Fox and High Ropes Course. On the first night our evening entertainment was at a Trivia Night led by some senior students from Bass Coast College. On the final night students danced the night away at a Disco run by DJ BBONE.
