Term 3 has just flown by, but what a term of delicious food adventures we’ve had in the kitchen program! The students have prepared and shared many winter delights, including cauliflower and potato soup, winter vegetable tarts, orange and poppyseed muffins and broccoli and tofu green curry. The highlight however, would have to be our pasta masterclass. Here the students could experience the simplicity of creating the pasta dough then use their senses to turn it into silky smooth ribbons of Tagliatelle. 

In week 8, we got our creative juices flowing. While many of our students attended district athletics, the Year 5 students in kitchen/garden were given one hour to practice their writing and delivered some beautiful kitchen/garden poetry. This work will adorn the walls in our kitchen from Term 4, giving all who read them a little taste of how our students feel about the SAKG program!
