Careers Army Day-Puckapunyal
On Friday 13 September, students from Years 10-12 travelled to Puckapunyal Military Area to participate in the Army Careers Day, hosted by the Defence Work Experience Team. Students were greeted by soldiers from several different Corps to discuss what life in the Army is like as well as to observe and get hands on with different types of Army equipment, such as radios and drones. A number of vehicles were also on the display ranging from logistics vehicles and trucks to combat platforms, such as tanks and personnel carriers. Students were also given the opportunity to ride in the Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV) - a highlight for many.

Reservoir High School and the Careers team are committed to offering and supporting students in as many pathways as possible. The Army Careers Day aims to highlight the benefits and variety of full- and part-time roles available in the Army and wider Defence, and we hope to offer this opportunity to students again in the future.
A big shout out to Mr Chen, Mr Devine and Chris (Pre-service teacher-Melbourne University) who attended on the day and helped make the day a huge success. Also, to all the students who were fantastic, attentive and represented the school with aplomb.
