Year 6 GIHS Transition

GIHS Yr 6-Yr 7 TRANSITION PROGRAMME - forward notice

The Yr 6 students who are preparing to go to Glen Innes High School for Year 7 in 2026 have taken part in a general tour of GIHS on Wednesday, 22nd October and will soon take part in the 2 day transition programme during week 7 and 8 of term.  These dates are listed below. 

Key dates for the GIHS Transition programme are:

(Wk 7)  - Wednesday - 26th November: - Full Day Transition programme for enrolling  Yr 7 students

(Wk 8 ) - Wednesday - 3rd December:     Full Day Transition programme for enrolling  Yr 7  students

Please note on these transition days the students are to wear their full St. Joseph’s Summer School uniform and are to go directly to the Glen Innes High School for transition - they do not need to come to St. Joseph’s school first. 

We wish our Year 6 students all the best as they embark on this exciting new chapter in their life as they begin their transition and preparation for High School.  This is the beginning of a transformative journey, filled with opportunities for growth, discovery and achievement.
