Dear Parents and Carers

Combined Youth Mass with St Brendan's

Thank you to all the students, families, and staff who made the effort to attend the Combined Youth Mass with St Brendan's last Saturday evening. It was wonderful to come together as parish and school communities to celebrate our shared faith.

The Mass focused on Earth and Creation, our Common Home, reminding us of our responsibility to care for God's gift of creation. We are grateful for the strong support shown by our community and look forward to more opportunities to gather, pray, and celebrate together.

ASHE Fest Success!

I'd would like to congratulate all students from Foundation to Year 4 for their outstanding behaviour at the ASHE Fest held over the past few days.  ASHE Fest celebrates local indigenous culture through traditional games, arts and crafts run by ASHE students. Our indigenous students represented St Luke's with pride, showing respect, responsibility, and enthusiasm in all activities.

Their positive attitude, excellent sportsmanship, and willingness to support one another made the 2 days enjoyable for everyone involved. We are incredibly proud of the way our students conducted themselves and thank them for being such wonderful ambassadors for our school.  Thank you to Jess Salua and Sophie Lewis for helping supervise our students.

Sacrament Mass and Celebration

Yesterday, our students who recently received the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist, celebrated with a mass and party with St Brendan's students.

The Mass was a beautiful opportunity to recognise this important step in their faith journey, and the celebration that followed was enjoyed by all.

We congratulate these students on this special milestone and thank their families, parish members, and teachers for their support and guidance. May God continue to bless them as they grow in faith, love, and service.

Father's Day Breakfast

Thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers, and special guests who joined us for our Father's Day Breakfast last Friday. It was wonderful to celebrate together and see so many families enjoying this special morning. We hope those who attended enjoyed the opportunity to share the special time with their children.  We appreciate your ongoing support of our school community.

Happy Holidays and Best Wishes

As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, we wish all students, families, and staff a safe, happy, and restful holiday break. Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership throughout the term.

Best wishes to all supporting AFL teams and local sporting clubs left in the finals. We hope you enjoy the excitement and wish all teams the very best of luck.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for term 4 on Monday 5th October.

Diocesan and School Theme

Gallery Image

This year our school theme is: Seek Peace and Pursue it.   For leaders, educators, students, and families, this theme is both a challenge and a compass. It reminds us that peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, mercy, and love. It calls us to be peacemakers in our schools, homes, communities, and hearts. And it affirms that the pursuit of peace is not optional, it is essential to the mission of Catholic leadership.

In 2026, may we not only seek peace, but pursue it with courage, humility, and hope.
