 Acknowledgment of Country

We turn our hearts and minds to the people of the Yorta Yorta nation, who have occupied this country for thousands of years. 

We pay respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging, and commit to walking alongside Aboriginal Australians in truth and justice.  

Prayer for AFL and All Local Sporting Teams ​

Heavenly Father,​

​

We thank You for the gift of sport, for the opportunities to compete, to grow in character, and to share in friendship and community.​

​

As the AFL Finals continue and local sporting teams come to the end of their own finals campaigns, we pray for every player, coach, volunteer, umpire, official, supporter, and family member involved.​

​

Grant strength and endurance to those who compete. Bless them with courage under pressure, discipline in preparation, and wisdom in every decision. Keep all participants safe from injury and help them to play with integrity, respect, and good sportsmanship.​

​

May victories be celebrated with humility and losses accepted with grace. Remind everyone that true success is found not only in winning, but in giving their best, encouraging one another, and honouring the spirit of the game.​

​

We especially pray for local clubs and communities, whose dedication and volunteer efforts make sport possible for so many.  Bless their fellowship and strengthen the bonds that unite them.​

​

May all finals contests be played fairly, passionately, and safely, bringing enjoyment to players and supporters alike.​

​

We entrust this season to You and ask that Your presence be felt on every field, court, track, and arena.​

School Theme 2026

This year our school theme is: Seek Peace and Pursue it.   For leaders, educators, students, and families, this theme is both a challenge and a compass. It reminds us that peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice, mercy, and love. It calls us to be peacemakers in our schools, homes, communities, and hearts. And it affirms that the pursuit of peace is not optional, it is essential to the mission of Catholic leadership. 

In 2026, may we not only seek peace, but pursue it with courage, humility, and hope.
