Every Drop Counts: Join Us in Supporting Life-Saving Blood Donations

At Doncaster Secondary College, we believe in the power of community and the importance of helping those in need. One impactful way to contribute is by donating blood. Every donation can save up to three lives, making a significant difference for patients in hospitals. We encourage all eligible students and families to consider participating in local blood drives. Together we can foster a spirit of generosity and support, ensuring those who rely on blood donations receive the care they need. Join us in making a positive impact–every drop counts!

Important Health Centre Reminder

In the last week of November, parents and guardians will receive a notification via Compass regarding important health documentation. This pertains to Anaphylaxis, Asthma, all allergies (including medication allergies and Hay fever), and Diabetes. Please note that this is a legal requirement from the Department of Education and Training (DET) and is part of Doncaster Secondary College's policy, due by the start of Term 1, 2025. If your child no longer has one of these conditions, a parent/guardian must inform the school in writing.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe.
