Middle Sub School Leader Rooms 10-18
Dear parents and carers,
This term, our Middle Sub School students have been participating in the Mini Woolies Program, building important life skills through structured, real-world learning experiences.
Students have been practising everyday tasks such as selecting items, waiting their turn, using money, and packing their purchases. Through these activities, they are developing confidence, independence, and communication skills, while also applying literacy and numeracy in meaningful contexts linked to the curriculum.
It has been wonderful to see students grow in their ability to make choices, communicate their needs, and take increasing responsibility during these sessions. These small but important steps are supporting their understanding of real-life routines and expectations.
We encourage families to continue supporting this learning at home by involving students in everyday shopping tasks where possible.
We are proud of the progress our students are making and look forward to continuing the Mini Woolies Program throughout the year.
