Primary Swimming Week.
Our primary swimming week was a wonderful success, with students demonstrating confidence, enthusiasm, and resilience as they participated in swimming activities throughout the week. Swimming provides valuable opportunities for students to develop water safety skills, build confidence in the water, and enjoy physical activity in a supportive environment.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all families for their support in helping make the week run so smoothly. Whether you volunteered your time to assist with changing, completed permission forms, packed swimming gear, or simply ensured your child arrived organised and ready each day, your support played an important role in the success of the program.
We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of our staff, who worked tirelessly to support students both in and out of the pool, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Thank you to our school community for working together to make swimming week such a rewarding experience for our students.
ROOM 8
The highlight for Room 8 this term has been swimming! Everyone loved being able to get into the pool to learn skills like floating, blowing bubbles, kicking and combining these to learn freestyle. A favourite amongst the students was diving underwater to catch rings and jumping together into the deep end. Back in the classroom Room 8 have also been enjoying playing social games together in literacy and numeracy. They particularly enjoyed bingo, chess and snakes and ladders this term to make friends, learn turn taking and sharing.
